THE BIRTHDAY CAKE

 

 

 

Little John gets a Prize winning Birthday cake from his Mom the day before his birthday and is warned NOT to open it before the 21st. (BTW, Dick Peabody's real birthday is April 6th, 1925) That same day, Saunders gets orders to do recon on German artillery build up by the river.  Pvt. Cantrell who is due to go home in the next few hours is assigned one last mission

The Hills are crawling with Germans

 

  Saunders and company lay low

a German Squad approaches a bridge

 

 

Saunders and Company allow the unit to pass


 

A gunshot is heard in the hillside and a horn goes off.

 

A frenchman gives the co-ordinates of the German advancements

 

Saunders, Caje and Kirby discover the depot

Meanwhile back at the Communication point LJ discovers

               "MY CAKE"!!!!!!

 

Saunders returns.    WHERE'S LITTLE JOHN?

 

Little John retrieves his cake and draws attention

 

That cake looked mighty good

During the fire fight one person gets hit......You guessed it. (Just like a cop movie)

 

Cantrell Tells Saunders He knows He's expendable

Saunders promises they'll all get out of this together

K Company gets new orders

 

We'll be right back for you Cantrell

 

 

The German Unit is right next to Cantrell

 

 

Little John disobeys orders again to try and rescue Cantrell

 

Little John quietly sneaks up on Heinrich

 

This war is hell on your feet.
